Respect the Course
-
Repair divots: Replace any divots you take out of the fairway or tee box.
-
Fix ball marks: Use a divot tool to repair any marks your ball makes on the greens.
-
Rake bunkers: After playing a shot from a bunker, smooth out the sand for the next player.
Pace of Play
-
Be ready to play: Prepare for your shot before it's your turn to keep the game moving.
-
Limit practice swings: Take only one or two practice swings before hitting the ball.
-
Keep up with the group in front: Avoid slowing down the group behind by keeping pace.
-
Let faster groups play through: If you're slower than the group behind you, allow them to pass.
Dress Code and Courtesy

Observe dress codes: Wear appropriate golf attire as required by the course.
-
Cell phones on silent: Avoid disturbing others by keeping your phone on silent or vibrate.
-
Respect others' time: Show up on time for your tee time and be ready to start when scheduled.
Care for the Greens
-
Avoid walking in putting lines: Don’t step on the line between another player’s ball and the hole.
-
Tend the flagstick: If needed, remove the flagstick for others when they are putting, and replace it afterward.
Golf Cart Etiquette
-
Follow cart rules: Stay on designated paths when required, and avoid driving on the greens or near hazards.
-
Park in appropriate areas: Keep carts away from tee boxes, greens, and bunkers.
